For you that is new on website design have you wonder how actually to make a website? And have you cross in mind that “I like to create my own website, but I don’t know how?” Then you start searching through search engine about how to build a website but nothing that you understand. A lot of people know that there are many website templates on the net but how to use it? How to upload it? Ok let me share with you guys how to do it. For sure to build a website you must have a domain and hosting. Don’t worry about it. I will show you how to host your website on free hosting like 000website.com and using free template. This is just to make sure you will understand the concept. After that you are encourage to change to a paid hosting or just upgrade the free hosting to paid hosting because 000website.com offer that.
Ok, let’s go to the every step.
A) Register and Manage Webhosting.
1) Open www.000website.com and click Sign Up!
2) Choose your free subdomain. Let’s say that I want to register as “webmania” so I put “webmania” on the text form. You have to choose your own name.
3) Click “Create My Account” button.
4) After you create the account you will be redirect to “Account Details Overview”. If you click your url like www.webmania.site90.com it will say “Your website is up and running!” and you are requested to delete file “default.php”
5) Click on “Control Panel”.
6) You will be redirect to Control Panel Main Menu.
7) Go to category “Files” and Click “File Manager”.
You will be asking to enter a username and password. Leave the username to default and enter your password.
9) You will be redirect to your site directory. Click on public_html. Select “default.php”.
10) Click button “Delete”.
11) Then click “submit” button.
12) The file has been deleted and click “Back” button.
13) If you type your URL again, it has nothing on it because you don’t put any file or template yet. It just displayed “Index of”. For the next step I will show you how to upload a free template. It is a very simple step.
B) Upload Template into Webhosting.
1) Find any free templates on the internet. You can use Google search on this website and type “free website template”. Click any site you prefer and find the template you like. Then download it. I have found my template that I need.
2) After you have downloaded the free template, next we will upload it into webhosting.
3) Click button upload.
4) You will be redirect to Upload and Archives page.
5) On “Archives” section click “Browse” button and find your template. Make sure your template in zip/tar/tgz/gz format because we will upload it on one time. If you want to upload only certain file you can upload it on “Files” section.
6) Click “Submit” button.
7) Once you have finished upload, it will show you all the files in your folder that have been successfully transfer to FTP server.
Click “Back” button. You will see that a few files already insert into your public_html folder.
9) Enter your url in browser’s address and walla!! Your site has been created and you can edit this webpage to anything you like because it is yours!
10) Now you can promote anything you like on your website
